hair cut

There is something about a brand new haircut that is so therapeutic.  Makes you feel like a new person.  It is a great way to break out a funk without spending tons of money.  

Thank you Amber for giving me my cute new hair do.  I'm excited.  It's bubbly and really easy to do, which is exactly what someone like me needs.

Biffy's Wedding!

Tim and I went to my little sister's wedding this weekend.  It was a beautiful atmosphere, and she was stunning. I'm 

glad that we got to be a part of it!

Last time we were all together we were a lot younger.  It's been about 8 years

July 4th

 4th of July was so much fun this year!  One because I actually got to spend it with my husband, and two because we got to spend it with great friends and the two cutest boys ever.

 While roasting Marshmallows Oliver got a little messy

 Last year Tim had to work on the 4th so I was extra excited this year

 Melissa and I rocked the sparklers

instead of enjoying his sparklers in the air, oliver used them to set the firework that looked like a house on fire.  He burnt it until there was nothing left but ashes.

All in all it was a great success!  

Our House. In the Middle of Our Street.

After going from house to house, spending $1,500 to get them appraised and inspected, and after months and months of searching we finally have a house!!!!  I love it so much.  We are having so much fun making it our own.  The only drawback we have had has been our fridge breaking after not even a day of being in.  Other than that it has been smooth sailing and we love having a place to call our own.  

 The kitchen is awesome.  I can't wait tell we can actually use it haha

 My favorite part.  The walk in closet.  I almost have my side filled though....I really need to get rid of some more clothes.

 My second favorite part.   I can't wait for it to be cold again so I can soak in it!

 This is Tim's favorite part....He didn't like sharing a sink with me in the other house...

Shooting and getting my slurpee shirt

I shot a rifle for the first time in my life.

I don't know if I am in love with it, but it was nice to learn how.

A slurpee is part of any great adventure, but this slurpee was special because it landed me a free slurpee shirt!!!!  Can't get much more legit than that.

Our Kitten

 He is a rapscallion.  He is also the cutest little kitten I have ever laid eyes on.  He doesn't really have a name besides psycho cat and cutie.  We thought he was a girl at first and named him miss mew....not really a gender neutral name.

and not even an hour later he fell asleep on me like this.

He took no time at all to warm up to me.

He has always liked to sleep right up next to my face. 

It's the weirdest thing.  I've never had a cat so snuggly before.

He was Tim and my first purchase as a married couple,

 and even though he can drive us crazy sometimes we love him dearly.  

Honeymooners

Our honeymoon was so much fun :) Vegas was nothing like I expected it to be, but it was still pretty cool to walk through all of the hotels and see their different themes. So despite being deathly ill the whole time, I had tons of fun.

We went to a different show every night. The Lion King was amazing. I would recommend it to everyone. The next night we went to The Phantom. It was so amazing to finally see my favorite play on the stage. Definitely a dream come true for me. The last night we went to The tournament of kings. We had so much fun, eating with our hands and cheering on the king of spain.

Married to my Best Friend

May 7th, 2011

The day my life changed forever. I married the man of my dreams. I married a boy that I know will love me for the rest of my life. A boy who treats me better than I ever dreamed I was worthy of being treated. He is my best friend. He makes me laugh, he makes me feel safe. I am the luckiest girl in the world and he doesn't waste one day without reminding me of that fact. Not by telling me I'm lucky, but by always showing me that I am.

The day was perfect. Nothing could have been better. Tim was so nervous. I thought he was going to pass out. My favorite part was when I was walking down the aisle and I saw my future husband at the end smiling and crying. It was such a sweet moment.

I have never been happier. I love being a wife. I love that Tim is my husband. I love that I get to spend the rest of my life getting to know him better and better.

everything happens for a reason

Tim and I have been in the process of trying to buy a house. around christmas time I found a house that I believed to be the house of my dreams. I really did love it, and I could see tim and I really making a good home for ourselves there. well this week we found out that after months of being jerked around we will not be getting that house. At first I was devastated. Not only was I not getting my house, but I was no longer going to have a house to come home too after my wedding. Well after getting over the initial shock tim and I decided to not waste any time and start searching for another house. In our search we have found several houses that are just as good for us, if not better. Granted a few months from now we could be in the same boat as we are now, but I just have such a good feeling about the neighborhood that all these houses are in. I feel like it is the place tim and I need to be. The place we need to raise our children. I just feel so good about it. Plus none of these houses are short sales so it could be easier for us to get one of them. Cross your fingers for us!

Everything is coming together

I have been doing a lot of contemplating the last day or two, and I always come to the same conclusion every time. I am the luckiest girl in the world. When I think back on my life the last few years I am still in shock that I am where I am at this moment. I think about all my heartache, and how lost and alone I have felt. Then I think about Tim. The best thing to ever happen to me. We are coming up on our 1 year anniversary and every day I realize more and more how perfect we are for each other. He is the only person in this whole entire world that I can completely be myself around. We are so weird, but I love it with all my heart. Our life is just about to start and i can't wait! We get our house on the 15th of April! then we get married on the 7th! I am so excited. So much going on
